Hi,

I wonder why there is "Wire" in between "Fashion Daily." What does "Wire" refer to here?Thanks.

I think you're right about the meaning, but I'm shocked to find wire connotes such meaning. Why does it mean this and why couldn't find this meaning in my dictionary?

It used to be used in place of telegram or telegraph. It may still be used as 'press' in Britain....not sure.
