what would you say?

1. Let's get a taxi. It's far too far to walk home from here.

or

2. Let's get a taxi. It's much too far to walk home from here.

Hi, I'd happily say either. 'Far too far' seems a little odd, because of the repetition, when you look at the written words and start to think about it, but really, it's something you would normally and easily say. Best wishes, Clive
