Far beyond driven

I know that the album "Far Beyond Driven" of the highly influential metal band "Pantera" once entered at the first position in the American Billboard album charts. However, I'm not clear in my mind what the title of the album could mean? Is it a kind of slang?

funny... All those years I thought this meant the completely opposite. Like 'far beyond beeing slightly driven' 'idle' 'indifferent'
