It's in over 2 months.

This sounds really awkward to my ear, but everything else sounds OK. I suggest April is more than two months away.

If I had not written 2 months. How would I have to let them not that April is far away if it is unnatural? Maybe: April is long ways away. What are your thoughts?

AnonymousApril is long ways away.
Not natural, I’m afraid. I have heard April is a long way away and April is far away.
