No. For example,
I love my sister very much. [correct]
I love my sister very far. [incorrect]

How far is the moon from the sun? [correct]
How muc

But they can be sometimes.
For example,
"It is far better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all"
is the same thing as "It is much better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."

In general, much and far are not equal. Only when they modify a word like "greater" "brighter" "better"
