Can I say,

(a) She fanned the girl with a book and asked the people to move away for some oxygen.

Luckily, she was a member of Red Crescent, so she knew the way to save the girl.

(b) The girl was fainted because she lack of oxygen and the place was no fresh air

(how do I say if the place is very hot and too many people so the girl fainted?
