Fancy/would like

Hi,

I fancy being the king of Spain and thus being able to rule all (of) their football teams as well.

1. Does this sentence contain any mistakes?

2. Can we replace "fancy being" with "would like to be"?

3. Can I leave out the bracketed "of"?

Thanks in advance...
