Fancier

What does "fancier" mean here?

Janette don't go see her parents much. Now go to see them to talk to them that she wants to get married. (Rex is Janette's father)

Janette: Hey, Dad.
Rex: Oh, so you're acknowledging my existence now?
Janette: Well you're not exactly the easiest man to ignore.
Rex: Well, I wanted to get this done before you got here. Look at you. Fancier every time I see ya.
