Fanart / artwork
Hello,
I personally use the word "fanart" to refer to the sort of arts that people do of fictional characters (for example, drawings of cartoon characters)
Is it acceptable/correct that I call them "fanart"?
If yes, does it count as fanart if people do other kind of arts of fictional characters rather than drawings?
What is the actual difference between "fanart" and "artwork"?

Karen51 I personally use the word "fanart" to refer to the sort of arts that people do of fictional characters You can use it if the artists did not create the characters or stories.
