Can anybody tell me what my recourse is, please: a couple of orders have been made in family court (against myself - the respondent). However, i was never served by the petitioner (not even sure that he actually filed anything relating to these 2 orders) but judge went ahead and granted in my absence from the hearing. What are the due procedural rules? Can you be required to come to hearing without being told in advance what the purpose of that same hearing will be? What rule applies in terms of service of application? Can you void an order if these rules have not been respected and if so, how to i go about voiding an order? Many thanks, Mel
