Vocabulary

family

Hi , I`d like to know when we talk about our family and we mean our previous family members such as parents , brothers and sisters and then later ones including wife , husband and kids how can we present them separately in terms of language ? can we say parental family and wedding family precisely?

"parental family" sounds to me as if it means a parent's mother, father and siblings, or a parent's ancestors. I wouldn't understand "wedding family". I can't think of any single term that would make this distinction.

I can't think of any single term that would make this distinction. I think you would have to name the relations you meant to include (e.g. "wife and children").
