Families who send their children to private schools should not be required to pay taxes that support the state education system. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

More and more students are going to private schools whose parents are believed not to contribute to state schools through taxes. While not having to pay for taxes have some personal benefits, I believe the contrary is totally better.

On the one hand, some aspects of financial concession have several advantages. The main one is highlighted when families can benefit their children’s learning quality more. If parents have a higher amount of money, they therefore can buy books or hire a qualified tutor in order to help their children in assimilating knowledge better. However, this is a situation in which we have to be long-sighted rather than short-sighted. Firstly, paying taxes have a long-term benefit in alleviating unemployment. As parents are supplying the state education system, they are playing an important role in producing a well-educated workforce. Hence, that is a great motivation for industrialization to take place when multinational corporations can place their branches in the state and provide a myriad of job opportunities, which students are aiming for.

Secondly, some public services that we are paying for are also disused all the time. In my case, I have been fortunate enough not to have any injuries to use the Health Insurance for 17 years which then in result have gone to public subsidies. Therefore, education should be a government top priority as well as being high on the agenda of all citizens. If we want to live in a good living condition accompanying with the growth of the national economy, we should allocate more resources to education and paying taxes is the easiest way.

In conclusion, I do not believe that it is advantageous in reducing taxes for families regardless of whether their children go to private schools or not.
