Falling on top of each other?

I was watching a video about Rug Plot (Staticstics) on Youtube and there was a phrase I did not understand in this sentence: "I added a little random noise to the weights to keep them from falling on top of each other" What does this mean? Thank you!

Without knowledge of original data is difficult to say it, but I'll try. A rug plot usually accompanies another plot. Rug marks can overlaid onto the original data.
