Falling In Love
Falling In Love, USA, romance, 1984, starring a lovely young Meryl Streep, and a great young Robert DeNiro. I just loved this movie.
I wonder what would have happened if she could do it. Probably the same as in The Bridges Of Madison County, movie made later in 1995. We don't know how we would act in certain situations. We shouldn't start things we can't finish but we sometimes do it. I remember that a friend here ( I miss her! ) used to say: I'd do like Francesca did. This simply mean that there's no other way, the family is more important than yourself and your own and unique life.
I often go to the supermarket and I take around in my trolley different products for a while but before arriving at the counter I leave them there because I 'shouldn't' buy them, because sweet or fat or something else. I 'should' just take them and enjoy having them. When I arrive home all that I do is to think and ask myself why didn't I take that or the other. This is wrong and disappoints me eventually.
