You always hear :
fake + a noun
He faked surprise.
He fake a headache so he wouldn’t have to go out.
Is it natual to use the gerund after fake?
Are these 2 sentences something a natuve speaker would say?
He faked being sick so he wouldn’t have to go out.
He faked crying so people people would feel bad for him.
