Fainting at the sight of blood.

What is the word used to describe the sensation of feeling ill or faint when seeing, or hearing about, another person's injury . I saw a TV program a few years ago where a doctor used this term to describe fathers who passed out in the delivery room.
This is an actual medical term, not slang like "the willies" or "heebie-jeebies".
