Faint , sick

1. I feel dizzy i think i'm going to be sick
2. i feel dizzy i think i'm going to be faint

Which one is correct.. I had an exam last Monday and i answered "sick" So am i wrong ?
I asked my teacher and said faint is the correct one but i'm not agreeing with him help guys

You're right and your teacher is wrong on this one. "I'm going to be sick" is fine. "I'm going to faint" would be fine, but "I'm going to be faint" is wrong.

You're right and your teacher is wrong on this one. "I'm going to be sick" is fine. "I'm going to faint" would be fine, but "I'm going to be faint" is wrong.

I agree that as written, 1 is correct and 2 is not. However, if we (as khoff mentioned) remove the "be" from 2, and then compare the two:

1. I feel dizzy; I think I'm going to be sick.

and

2. I feel dizzy; I think I'm going to faint.

It might be worth noting that they don't mean the same thing: "I'm going to be sick", at least where I live, means "I'm going to t
