Hello!

Could you please check my sentence below?

Because Josh didn’t take the final exam, his final grade is missing. Under the circumstances, obviously he fails Math class unless he takes the make-up test.

Hi In the UK, we'd say "... unless he does the retake" - I've started A-level Physics, but I have to make time to revise for the Maths retake - Phew, I finally got the maths on the retake! I've not seen 'make-up' used in that context and I can't find it on the web Dave
