I'm teaching English at school as a non-native speaker and I met the expression in a reading passage: "I want to be a strong person who can face any difficulty and can give a helping hand to anyone in need."
I would think that "who can face any difficulty" should be "who can accept any difficulty" or something like that. If the phrase "who can face any difficulty" makes sense perfectly, please give me some other expressions that convey the same meaning.
