face problem with the word "Ultrasound"

Dear all!

Sometimes, I fed up with my english... although I'm working at one foreign organization, I don't even know how to use some of the Vocab..

"ULTRASOUND" (noun)..

I don't know how to use "ultrasound" to make sentence.

I want to sent mail to my friend that I want to tell her about my ultrasound result that i have a baby boy!!!

"I've got my ultrasound result that i have a baby boy." IS THIS RIGHT?

or

"I've finished my ultrasound examination and I have a baby boy." IS THIS RIGHT?

thanks for your help!

An ultrasound is more a type of examination, than a medical test, so if you use it in the same way as 'examination' it should work for you. We don't talk of receiving the ultrasound 'results' in the way that we might talk about blood test results, for example. For one thing, you don't have to wait, it all happens during the examination.

Actually, in the last sentence 'had' would be a lot better than 'finished'.
