can we say " face out the world " ? I must have saw it somewhere but I don't know if that sentence make any sense.

i used it in that sentence: If young people don't develop their social skills, they won't be able to face out the world. I meant that they wont be able to " survive, to endure etc. "

I think you mean "face the world". There is no "out" in that idiom.
