Fabric / Fabrics?

Hi All,

We have a query, what is the plural of fabric? When writing the following statement, which is correct; 'window blind fabric and components', or 'window blind fabrics and components'?

Thanks in advance for your help!

The plural of fabric is fabrics. You're going to have to provide a bit more context before I can give you a decent answer, Jenny. Is this phrase part of a bid, estimate or quotation for future services?

Hi Peter, thanks for your reply. It's just a statement about what the company does, (we are a manufacturer of these products), to be used on promotional material.

Thanks for your reply, Jenny.

If this is a statement of what your company provides, I would write:
"(we provide/make/manufacture) fabrics and components for window blinds."
You could also use fabric in the singular, but I am assuming that you have a range of different fabrics available, so the plural "fabrics" seems clearer to me.

If it is for some sort of section heading
