That's a whole eye.

TinaMr"eye pupil"

The first word is not normally added. The pupil is one part of an eye.

The pupil is the hole through which light passes into the eyeball. The pupil dilates in dim light and contracts in bright light. It regulates the amount of light entering the organ.

The eyeball is the entire structure that fits into the bony socket of the head.
