Hi!
Is the sentence 'Because of the Fourth of July fireworks were especially loud, my dog ran away' correct?
Shouldn't it be either 'Because of the Fourth of July fireworks being especially loud, my dog ran away'
or 'Because the Fourth of July fireworks were especially loud, my dog ran away'?
I'd greatly appreciate a quick response.
The original is wrong. Yes to those changes. CJ
