Extreme weather

In recent years, the world has suffered from frequent natural disasters. Extremely hot summers, ferocious tornadoes and devastating floods have been regularities while ideal weather has been rarely seen.

Explanations of experts worldwide for this phenomena vary. Some say abnormal atmosphere circulation may account for the disasters. Some argue that global warming may be the cause. Some think it's EL Nino phenomenon that lurks behind.

In the future more extreme weather, which is more frequent, more intense and will afflict more areas, is to be expected. Not only will it threaten people's lives and security, but also causes increasing general economic losses.

What's more, climatic disasters exert more influence on such industries closely related to weather as irrigation, agriculture, forestry, energy industry, health service and travel industry, etc. These factors will blight the recovery of global economy with more variables against the instability and uncertainty of the current world economy.
