Do you use this word this way too?

1. She is extravagant.

I found it is often used with preposition. So do you not use it like #1?

Ah, I see. Yes, it can be used alone of course, but in natural utterances, we would expect more information to emerge. The same can be said about many, many adjectives, I'm sure:

She was extravagant (with ...)

She was unhappy (with, about...)

She was shy (about...)

She was irregular (in....)

She was silly (about...)

She was married (to...)
