extraposition

Hi everybody, I've found this example of extraposition o relative clauses and sounds strange to me. Is it correct?

a. Someone who we don't know left a message.
b. Someone left a message who we don't know. - Extraposition of relative clause out of subject

Top answer

Since it uses 'who' instead of 'whom', I don't suppose the clause placement makes any difference, but B is certainly poor construction.
