Essay & Composition Writing

extract

Can you please read it and see if the grammar and style are OK?

In collaborative approach to negotiation partners try to avoid words and procedures which might lead to the escalation of conflicts or expressing one's own superiority since it does not contribute to the positive atmosphere and trust needed for finding satisfactory solutions for both parties. If heated argument leads to tensions and outpouring/outburst of emotions, it is necessary to do everything to calm/sooth the situation and to regain positive win-win perspective. Naturally, for collaborative approach, it is important that both parties want it, but if that is not so, one should be aware of manipulative techniques which the other party is using or trying to use. A skillful and well-prepared negotiator will relatively easily recognize/discern these techniques and accept them as such, but will not allow them to shake his confidence, which most often is final/ultimate intention of those people who use such tricks.
