TOPIC: Far too little has been done to prevent animals and plants from dying out, although people have noticed this problem for a long time. Why have people failed to improve this situation? What are your suggestions?

There is no denial that the mass extinction of plants and animals is likely to occur in the distant future due to human continuous intervention; nevertheless, marginal effort has been made to solve the problem efficiently. My essay will present two rationales of this phenomenon.

The first reason for the disappearance of species is humans’ over – reliance on natural resources for their individual needs. It goes without saying that some people are on the assumption that animals are born to feed human beings, especially rhinoceros’ horns or whale meat being thought as a favorite delicacy in numerous countries. Another instance is the circus models where animals are trained for humans’ entertainment and somewhat suffer from maltreatment. Furthermore, when it comes to plants, over – gazing is such an outstanding example of over – utilizing living species which leads to a widespread extinction.

The second explanation is that few people take this event seriously. It is of no doubt that deforestation is such an adverse course of action, inducing pessimistic implications. However, the number of campaigns against this phenomenon is exceptionally rare, showing how considerably the ordinary ignore. In addition, the act of purchasing luxuriously furry clothing is such an indirect way to create opportunities to boost this fashion area, albeit a severe disapproval of fur industry on mass media. In other words, more and more animals are slaughtered for fur on grounds of financial benefits.

In conclusion, the race protecting living creatures from disappearance meets numerous hurdles, despite everyone’s clear awareness of grave consequences. It is pivotal for humans to take steps now to secure the existent of species together with ours as well.
