Hi,

Consider

(1) We offer an extended set of options ....
(2) We offer an expanded set of options....

I wonder if 'extended' and 'expanded' are 100% interchangeable in this kind of context?

In fact, I WASN't aware of that difference... Not that you have pointed out the nuance, I would say (after consulting a few dictionaries ) that 'expand' can be 3-dimensional as well?
