Expunge

Those days we write a list of names on a piece of paper.

Now we do it using computers.

Of course there are millions of people who don't have access to computers and write on papers.

They have expunged my name from the list of the club members.

[ CORRECT WHEN IT IS ON THE PAPER.]

They have expunged my name from the list of the club members.

[ THE LIST IS ON YOUR COMPUTER. IS IT CORRECT TOO?]

Hi, You could say it in both cases. But note that 'expunge' is an uncommon word. You could live in an English-speaking country for years without hearing or maybe even reading it.
