[expressions] got nothing on you

Dear Users,

Could you please tell me what "to have nothing on you" means? I asked my former co-worker the following question: How's office life? How are the new folks? and his reply was:

Pretty good, same old, same old, but they ain't got nothin on yew.

I assume he wanted to say something like "they have nothing on you“ ?

I assume he wanted to say something like "they have nothing on you“ ? He said what he wanted to say. As a mild joke, he was pretending to speak like someone who is poorly educated.
