Do you find this sentence natural, especially the use of end? I have only seen fill with vacuum.

Husband to wife:

We need to end this vacuum between us.

'Fill' is certainly more natural than 'end'.



But the whole idea of saying that people 'have a vacuum between them' seems slightly unnat
