Expression of question
Dear Teacher,
We may make a request from somebody about something in this way;
“Have you got any papers?”.
But, quite often, we hear someone requesting the same purpose like this;
“Do you have any papers?”.
Could you please tell me which one is proper and formal in the sense of grammatical order?
