Expression of Ideas (paragraph)

Im having difficulty with expressing my ideas clearly. Heres a paragraph (out of the whole original essay) I rewrote with much care. Please give feedback.

Q: Science has destroyed all the mystery and magic in our lives. Do you agree?
Stand : Disagree
Defined mystery and magic as things unproven/unexplained by science

Science has not destroyed all the mystery and magic in our lives, particularly in our view of human life. Science explains that every person is just an object made up of molecules working in a system. Free will becomes a mere illusion, as it is the chemical reactions in our brains that determine how we think. This explanation makes man no different from a machine. Human life will also have no meaning other than to work for its survival and continuity of its kind. However, we see in our world that not everyone agrees with the scientific view of human life. Some of them are believers of free will, who believe that we have power over what we think and do. There are others who see beyond the scientific explanation of human life. Believers of human rights believe that man is more than merely a machine, and thus should receive more rights than a machine. People who die for love, justice and their beliefs shows that they see more meaning to life than mere survival. These people are evidence that science has not destroyed all the magic in our lives.

Does this paragraph make sense? Any points not expressed clearly? Feedbacks are welcomed.
Thanks
