Expression?

What does the expression 'Everything is a noun' mean?

Top answer

Hi, I guess it means what it says. When you think about it on a simple level, it seems true enough. Perhaps it is a shorthand way of referring to some subtle linguistic debate.

Hi,

What does mwah(ness) mean?

Are you sure you heard what she said correctly?
eg Perhaps she said 'Everything is unknown'.

The ending -ness makes a noun. Maybe she was being silly and putting -ness on every word, thus making everything a noun. She then commented on what she had been doing by saying explicitly, "Everything is a noun", meaning "I've been turning everything into a noun".
