Expressing interest and suprise

How old are your students? At what level is their English?

They are between 16 and 17. Yet they are 1st year baccalaureate students in secondary school. As for English is regarded as a second foreign language. As a teacher how to present the lesson and make it simple for them to role play function of suprise and interest.

May I ask if you have been taught how to make lesson plans?

Lilicay I need your ideas on how to teach my students functions about expressing interest and surprise.

They are high school students and they have a medium level in English.
As for lesson plans yes of course I make for each lesson a lesson plan.
