Expressing a range etc.: from..to, between..and, ..to..
Hi,
can I use from..to, between..and, and ..to.. for expressing the same idea that is a range or period of time?
Or are there some exceptions when I should use only, for example, ..to.. instead of from..to..?
Here are some examples I have been trying to figure out:

One addition from me as my Oxford dictionary suggests that I can use
between..and with the verb vary
vary ~ (from sth to sth) | ~ (between A and B)
=>Prices vary between 50 and 80 euros
