Expressed his satisfaction with a loud sigh

After finishing the meal, the king expressed his satisfaction with a loud sigh.

Hi,
Does the bolded part in the above sound right? I mean, how could "a loud sigh" express one's satisfaction? Thanks.

Not the best choice of words, I suppose, but we get the point-- ' a sigh of satisfaction' is a fixed phrase.
