Express this in a script

I don't know how say this in script I write

The elevator wasn't aligned with the ground floor. The elevator had gone down a tad too much. I had trouble getting the stroller out of the elevator because there was a step (since it had gone done more than it was supposed to). I had to pick up the stroller to get it out of the elevator.
