Exports in Various Categories (IELTS Cambridge 14)
The bar chart and the table give the information about the export earnings of one’s country from five groups of products from 2015 to 2016. Overall, there was an upward trend in all items but one which indicated a decline in income.
It can be clearly seen that the export revenue in 2016 was 236 million compared to the figure in 2015 which was 218 million. As the data suggests that petroleum products and engineering goods were the biggest earnings which were incline of 3% and 8.5% respectively. In terms of the textile industry, there was considerable growth in income. The export earnings climbed from approximately 58 million to about 62 million, incearsing 8.5%. From 2015 to 2016, the was a fall in the earnings of gem and jewellery by 5.8 %. It stood at around 43 million in 2016 and dropped to roughly 40 million in 2015.
To sum it up, the export revenue went up over the period shown in every product. The only downward trend happened in gem and Jewellery.
