"exploring".Does this adjective existent?

Could anybody tell me whether exploring is existent?
If it's existent, please tell me the meaning and give me one or two examples.

It doesn't lend itself to adjectival use as well as some present participles, but you could say something like "he had an exploring mind" (a mind that likes to explore things).

To the subject of "exploring" as an adjective. Could it be used as "exploring guide"? Here's a sentence for example: This book is an exploring guide for Chicago. Or is "exploration guide" better? Thank you!
