You are probably right, though I think it's possible to see 'got stuck' as a passive form.

Actually, I think you're right; it depends on the interpretation of "stuck". I originally read it as meaning "trapped, unable to leave", in which case I think it must be an adjective since you can't really say that anyone or anything "stuck" her. However, if yo

I asked this question because I heard the native speaker uses that word even on the sentence, it confused me a lot about the rules that they thought me, like for instance article +noun, third person , preposition+ noun, modals ,adverb+verb, gerund and infinitive.

GPY,yes that's what I meant,I honestly just copied it from the book. if you says stuck (adjective )and got(verb), my question is can you do that in the sentence? Like for example, she(noun) got(verb) promoted(adjective). Because I thought that past tense cannot be combine with another past tense but I think promoted is an adjective(not verb)..so it is possible...am I right??

Depending on verb and context, "got + past participle" can be interpreted in two ways:

1) With "got" meaning "became", and the past participle as an adjective. For example, "She got excited".

2) With "got" substituting for "was/were" as a way of forming the passive voice. For example, "She got arrested".

"She got promoted" seems to be in the latter category.
