Explanation letter

hi clive,

i've done something wrong when i took the hard disk from the cpu without asking permission knowing that all files saved in the said hard disk were highly confidential. i brought it home with me to fix it since it's broken but without knowing my boss got mad at me and told me to submit an explanation letter why shouldn't i be sanctioned even if i committed some mistake. can u pls help me make it? i'd surely appreciate it.
