Explanation

Hello everyone,

Can I use the word "explanation" as a countable noun if I give two different explanation in two different comments?

Eg. I gave two explanations about the topic.

Eg. My explanations didn't contain that statement.

Yes. In fact, it's usually a countable noun.

Your examples are OK except that we say "an explanation of [a statement / a topic]", not "an explanation about ...".
