Explaining a beautiful song

Hello,

I love this song so so much (Let Me Fall/ Cirque Du Soleil). I do not have any question about vocabulary/ grammar, but the song troubles me a lot, philosophically. I wonder what is the real message the author really wants to convey to us. Please tell me about the philosophy/ the spirit/ of that beautiful song.

THANK YOU!

Let me fall, let me climb, there's a moment when fear and dreams must collide.

Someone I am is waiting for courage, the one I want, the one I will become will catch me. So, let me fall, if I must fall, I won't heed your warnings, I won't hear them.

All I ask, all I need, let me open whichever door I might open.

Let me fall, and if I fall, though the phoenix may or may not rise.

I will dance so freely, holding onto to no one. You can hold me only if you too will fall away from all, these useless fears and chains.

Let me fall, and if I fall, there's no reason to miss this one chance, this perfect moment, just let me fall.

I think it is talking about taking risks in life. We need courage to pursue our dreams and take risks, even though there is a danger of failing.
