Well, this is perfectly OK.

I must call mother tomorrow. It will be her birthday.
I have got to call mother tomorrow. It will be her birthday.

Is it correct that "must" and "have got to" cannot be used in the future tense?
"must" has no future tense. "have got to" has no future tense.
To express an obligation which will be incurred in the future, use "will have to".
