Essay & Composition Writing

Experts here please help with my writing task 1

I am really afraid of writing task 1 because I've never got familiar with it so far.

However, I'm trying to get things better. Hope I could do better in the next test in summer.

Here's my writing task 1 and please help me with correcting anything you find it necessary to do so.

Thank you so much in advance.

The graph describes the changes in burglary, car theft and robbery in Manchester city centre during 2003 and 2012.

Overall, the housebreaking rate was by far the highest figures at the beginning and then decreased sharply, whereas stolen car incidents rose slightly, and stickup started low and remained relatively unchanged over the period.

It is clear that the breaking and entering started the recorded period at under 3,500 incidents, then it rose slightly to around 3,750 in 2004. It then declined dramatically over the next four years until it bottomed at just over 1,000 in 2008. Then it increased slightly to just 1,500 the following year and leveled off until 2012.

In additional, the stolen car figure was at around 2,300 at the beginning and then fell slightly and gradually over the following three years until it reached a low of above 2,000 in 2006. Then there was a fluctuation in a rising trend until it peaked at 2,500 in 2012. The stickup began at just over 500 in 2003, then it rose slightly to under 1,000. After that it fell gradually in 2006 and leveled off at 500 or above until 2012.
