Report July 30, 2017.
This is the third demo lesson of our class.
Although I was tired after a long day yesterday I got up early at 6:30 am. Honestly speaking, I didn’t want to take part in the lesson today, I wanted to spend time on sleeping in the weekend.
Fortunately, I made new friends who are friendly, coming from Efis 35 class. They made my mood was better.
Mr. Tai, who is an English teacher, is a profound knowledge person instructed our learn about Ho Chi Minh Complex and Temple of Literature.
Initially, we went to Ho Chi Minh Complex where include HCM’s Mausoleum, Ba Dinh square, Presidential Palace, HCM’s Residence, One Pillar Pagoda, HCM Museum. In fact, we had documents about this so I won't report more. I will write about my feeling and knowledge that I experienced in the morning.
You know, previously, when I visited historical sites, I used just to take some photos, playing without researching any information for that. Thus, my knowledge was hollow. From now on, I have started to learn about history, culture, economic and as the result, my information is expanded. I prefer doing to answer team than doing alone. After every team’s answer, Mr. Tai commented, pulsed information, he always reminds us that: “ you should think any subjects about two sides and shouldn’t think one side. I think as well. I learned that every thing in HCM mausoleum has to mean.
There was an interesting, fortunately, we met visitors who came to West. They ask historical information, so we had good opportunities to practice English. But, you know, today I was weary, hungry because I didn’t have breakfast. So couldn’t talk any words with them.
Finally, after a tough morning, we had lunch with two Mexican friends at Pork noodles restaurant next to Temple of Literature. I was impressed with a greeting type. First, he raised his hand and shake my hand, then is a friendly hug and a kiss on my cheek. I was surprised. it was the first kiss on my cheek from a man who comes from a West country.
