Hi, According to what I know, the word "experience" is used in an uncountable sense when referring to a person's experience that he experiences in relation to his job, but used countably when used to mean what he experiences in his daily life apart from his job situtation. Broadly speaking, that's commonly true, but the work/non-work difference is just a matter of idomatic usage, not a grammatical requirement. It really just depends on whether you are thinking of experience very generally and broadly, or of experience as a series of smaller, discrete events.
